Everything is…
There was a lot of turmoil this last month with Mobibookz. After just returning (finally getting a new PC) to the site and getting everything back up and running, our last host crapped out on us. Mobibookz switched to a new host but sadly had lost four months worth of backups as the backups were missing (caused by some unknown bug in the backup program) a key file. Now, after reverting the site to a backup from four months ago things are starting to return to normal. Sadly we had lost a lot of great posts in the forums and also lost a lot of member data. If you were effected by a lost account please feel free to re-signup. Also take a look in the forums, as our resilient members have been posting a lot of great new eBooks. Mobibookz has also had it’s Mirrorcreator account closed. This slight setback will be dealt the same way we dealt with the closing of Megaupload, or the account closing of Mediafire, the links will be fixed with a new file sharing site. As always, just ask in the comments of a title for a link to be fixed if the download is not working.
With everything that has happened on Mobibookz in the last month we would like to thank all the members that have donated to the site. These funds are exactly what keeps this site trucking along and is greatly appreciated. We would also like to thank the wonderful members who have kept on posting new eBooks and eBook collections in the forums. We know it was quite a setback to loose four months of posts in the forums, and we appreciate all of your hard work to keep the forums a great place to share and find eBooks.
For those of you who are interested in helping out Mobibookz there are a couple of ways to show your support. Firstly there is always the Paypal donation link on the upper right side of the site. Any size donation is always helpful. Second, there is always the Amazon links below every eBook on this site and there is an Amazon advertisement always on the bottom right side of the front page. Once you click on these links and land on an Amazon page, anything you purchase from that point on while browsing Amazon will have a small percentage that goes to Mobibookz. These do add up, especially during the Holiday season. And lastly, go into the forums and share. The forums are the backbone of this site and can always use more postings of eBooks. So get in there and share people, that’s what this site is all about.
